Just waking up in Australia……..
Watching tonight’s news and the reports of international conflict, devastating weather conditions and countries gripped by social unrest, made me happy to be waking up in our distanced, island continent.
I know we have our own issues, however compared to the rest of the world I truly believe that we are very fortunate to be living in Australia……

I used to think it was just a case of, “There’s no place like home”, when returning to Australia, but it is indeed much more than that, for the very reasons Mark has pointed out ^^^.

Rather, what made me laugh today.......

I've just run a lead to the kombi, to chill down the 3 way fridge before stocking it in the morning for the run North.
My neighbour - ( the same one that I had convinced that the heater booster fan is actually a turbo-charger   ) - proclaimed,
" Ahhhh, I see you've gone EV......"
I couldn't keep up the charade with a straight face and told him the truth ......this time.....
(Made me laugh inside...)

Waking up and knowing we will arriving at Old Bar, a 3 day trip with my leg still in a brace. Nothing was  to stop us from being there and catching up with our fellow Kombi Club friends. See you soon
