Wow……that’s a nice dam.

Jindabyne was similar with the trout riding the fall with the overflow……….time to catch trout !

A series of dicer blades, mounted with close spacing across the width of the spillway, would have contributed to help sort one environmental issue…….. missed opportunity there for some carp control!  Rolleyes

Years ago it was Yellowbelly going over, now this dirty, invasive species and there was no shortage of them either. Just a net at the bottom of the spillway would have been ideal to catch and kill.

That’s too sensible and easy a solution Chrissy….now the river/s downstream will be host to more of these mud suckers…..

Bit wet? Over half our place is still under metres of water from July.

Just saying...

But it's a nice view from the kitchen window.

I didn’t expect an answer, because I spoke in Spaniel, which is understood only by spaniels.

It’s dropped considerably here, and now moved on to Gundagai & Wagga, with unpleasant results……..

It's just so hard to get your head around how vast and devastating the floods have been in recent times. We visited Lismore recently for the Nimbin MardiGrass Kombi Konvoy and it was heartbreaking to see how little the City had recovered. As our main shopping town for 17 years previously it was just too hard look at. So many friends were impacted loosing their homes and businesses.

I wonder when it will all end.  Cry

Won’t be long and the island of Australia will be under the sea. We are doomed as the end is in sight.  Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
