Posting Photo Issue
#11
Sorry - should clarify - I was trying to add a 2.5 MB pdf file as an attachment.
I will look at trying to downsize it - not sure how to do this with a pdf file ? - maybe I can split it somehow into more than one file ?
Looking at other posts, there seems to be a number of pdf file attachments at around the 1 MB size.
Just experimenting with adding attachments, it seems I can attach pdf files up to about 1.6 MB - Anything larger than that is rejected.

Edit / Update
I split the pdf file into 2 files -( 2 x 1500 kB) - and reposted it - seemed to work this time :-)

Thumbs Up
I'm liking the idea of How To's as PDF Files.
That way if you want to use the info while doing a job then it can be printed and used like a KombiClub version of a Bentley's manual.
What do you reckon?

PDFs are great for printing…..but harder to ask questions about, online.
Whatever works for folks is what they should be using  Wink

@grant

See if you can save the PDF as a “compressed file”

Does “@username” work?

Totally coincidentally I can no longer upload images. The error is

"The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again. Error details: PHP returned: Failed to write the file to disk. Please contact your forum administrator with this error."

This is a PHP error so it is server side. Ie. the forum software is failing to write the file to its storage. I've tested multiple browsers/systems and files.

Anyone else seen this?

I didn’t expect an answer, because I spoke in Spaniel, which is understood only by spaniels.
