Have been chasing a squeak in my cupboards for some time now and it seems that just when i think I have found it I find I have not Angry until now , yay ,I have finally found it and fixed it. Just to double check I went over numerous speed humps and to my delight NO MORE FLAMING SQUEAK. Struth I love these old buses, they do make life interesting.

Nice to hear Chris Wink .
I'm a 'squeak freak' also.
Got plugs, rubbers, sponges in all the right places.
Where was the squeak?
Cheers

Here Lou,

$73 blanks

Be sure to waterproof them before install. Even with the plastic layer backer it's worth the extra insurance re water penetration to water proof the back (inside door cavity side) to be sure no water gets to them.

Cheers

Hi Dave, a wooden drawer support end hard up against the back of the passenger front seat 6 inches above the floor, When i took it off i  could see the paint on the end of it .All ihad to do was shorten It by 5 mills. Problem solved.,if there is two things I can't stand is squeaks and rattles. For what it's worth, I use Sellys polymer roof and gutter sealer when installing cupboards that joins to one another before scewing together Absolutely wonderfull gear, use where you can't use wood glue or where you need to need join timber to metal , metal to metal, and so on ,but remember its polymer NOT Silicone. Dont get the two mixed up. (It is flexible and sets quickly)

Another source of cards as I notice the JK are on back order

These are Masonite as opposed to MDF

I have the ABS ones and they are brilliant

Be aware that the holes in the cards don’t line up with the ones in the doors.
I. You plan to use the stock clips you want the offset ones in the original cards.
If you want to use “scrivets” or plugs you need to line up the holes.

Think about getting rid of the vent in the bottom corner, especially if keeping clips.
They (the door card) break just by looking at them.

Really don’t believe it does anything.

Over the Single Cab unreliability to start each time, and often charging of the battery, which was no longer holding a decent charge for more than 24 hours, so removed it today, and found the purchase date, in my handwriting on it!

Not a bad run. So off to Autobarn, to buy another MF66 Supercharge battery. Fitted, and all is well again.
