1975 Kombi Removing old heater cables

I did like the suggestion in Barry’s link, of just tying them to something secure, like a lamp post, and then driving the Kombi away from it!

Saves all that manual pulling & swearing effort………

it was my next move, but they finally came out, it should have been an easy job , but not so.
