Old Bar Beach Festival 2024
#1
Here's the new link for those interested in the Old Bar Beach Festival :

https://www.oldbarbeachfestival.com.au

Someone's been working hard on their webpage !!

Dates are October 4-6 inclusive.
Many KCA folk arrive earlier and leave later to make it a real Kombi loooong weekend.
Big Grin
Cheers,
Mark

Just wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for caravan parks NSW coast somewhere between Newcastle and Old Bar?
Planning on travelling from Melbourne over 4 days and maybe stay a day near the beach and have a short last days drive from there to Old Bar

We have stayed overnight at Harrington in the small van park on the left on the way in……….nice fishing river mouth town, not too far off the M1 and not far from Old Bar……..but here’s another alternative……Coopernook Pub…..free camp out the back and on the river…….we did not stay but wished we had experienced it…….I only ever see good reviews about Coopernook Pub
Have you heard of Mystery Bay, south coast NSW…..another good spot on your way north….

The good news is that Coastal Brewing has  released an Old Bar Festival Pale Ale. https://mail.yahoo.com/d/folders/1/messa...lang=en-AU.
Helen and the team from Coastal Brewing are very nice people to deal with and produce great beers.
