Well, I went to repair this today and all was going well until I heard a metallic "tinkle" on the ground at my feet....
I'd ground the rivets flush with the case and was ready to start separating the halves when this happened
Half of the alloy bumper casing fell away.....it appears that it has been cracked for a long time and chose today to part ways with the rest of the lock casing.
Bugger !
So I'm back to square one, looking for a good 2nd replacement.
I've updated my Wanted thread with pics of the lock I'm chasing.
As always, any help would be greatly appreciated.
