Bye bye Blue Bus
#1
After 17 years of owning Blue Bus today we said goodbye and sent him on his cross country journey to WA where he will come out of retirement and earn his keep as a second ‘67 Splittie for Boho and Bogans.
Keep an eye out at the markets around Perth. I’d love to hear if you see him there.

I know a lot of you will be asking why we sold him, we are getting old and soft?? he’s travelled less than 500klm in the last 5 years and cost us over $1000 per year in rego and insurance.

We will always keep Molly our camper as we couldn’t bare not being part of the Kombi Club family.

Out with the old and in with the new. Not a ‘Grey Nomad’ just yet but not too far away.

All good things come to a sensible end.

There will come a time we all have to hand them over, to the next custodian, when we can no longer use them as they were designed for………. Sad fact.

Most well cared for examples, will outlive us!

No doubt hard to watch Blue Bus drive away Lorraine but I bet the grandkids are hanging for a sleepover in the new big cubby house!  Big Grin
