Hi all! The new forum looks good, I was on the old one for a while when I first got my 73 bus, its been in storage for far to long! Time to get it going again, needs an engine rebuild, all advice and help is more than welcome!
Cheers, Nick.

Welcome Nick to the KC. Ask away with the questions.
Don’t know any mechanics in Tasmania that do engine rebuilds.
There will be someone that does. Can you able to do any mechanical work?
Good manual like Bentley book can help you. What ever you decide enjoy the ride wherever it takes you.

Hi, and welcome.

Mechanics for rebuilds are getting harder to find and the ones left are fairly busy.  Andrew Robinson in Hobart and Peter Murfet in Ulverstone would be the places to start, and they might know of a few more.

That said you can rebuild yourself as there is plenty of info around, and good part suppliers on the mainland that can ship parts to you.
