We always take the long way to and from a Bus Stop event.
This year, after an “eventful” Dubbo trip, we wound our way home via Hill End and Turon Gates.
Turon is a fantastic place on the banks of the Turon river, near Capertee. The campground has no set sites, you pre pay, drive in and set up wherever you want. We were fortunate that we came in midweek…..there was hardly anyone there…..but the numbers did increase as the Long Weekend grew nearer….
I love the pristine, trout filled river, the fact that you can have an open fire and dogs (under control) are welcomed.
