I reckon a lot of us have camped at Wyangala Dam....................or by the lazy Lachlan River.

Check out the video of Wyangala Dam and the spill over that is currently happening

…..last time I was out that way, Scotty and I paddle boarded the Lachlan river for a few hours… Cool
The river was quite low and the locals had taken chainsaws to the fallen trees so they could get a small boat through…..
Our Forbes Bus Stop was on the banks of the Lachlan….such a beautiful, tranquil spot….KC had the entire campground booked out…..one of the best ones we’ve been to.
Really feel for the township and can’t imagine the devastation they must be enduring…..
Cheers,
Mark

We camped at Eugowra at the end of August on the campsite on the river bank.  We certainly feel for the town as it was such a great place to camp.
