When I worked at the crane mob near Liverpool, at least one of the executives rented a good looking woman to attend any company functions he had to attend ... it is believe he got the idea from another executive that at least always rented the same woman so no suppression was raised :lol: The general talk among the workers was that she was a rent a stunner and the bloke was gay ...
After a drink or three I asked the rent a stunner at one of the Christmas parties about how the deal worked and she quite openly said she met up with him in the hotel lobby, travelled with him and stayed as his "partner" for the length of the event, travelled back to the hotel lobby and he paid for her cab home ..... definitely no sex involved, the bloke was trying to hide the fact he was gay. When I said it was commonly known on thw workshop floor, she asked me not to say anything to him because it would ruin a very good part time job that paid well and always involved a good dinner with nothing extra expected

Umm.... a prostitute really only works the sex side of the trade, an escort is a higher line of work where they are both a partner for the evenings event and then a bed companion for as long as the engagement requires making sex a given but not always taken advantage of, some just want someone in bed with them so they wake up with stunner the next morning ... others don't want to be reminded the following morning or don't want their morning and following days privacy invaded .... it also avoids that "good bye" after the event.

This was more of a "rent a good looking woman to show off at functions" but that was the end of the arrangement, no sex expected or offered at an additional price .....

Sorry, just did know a number of young ladies in the trade, some from each side, and the stories certainly made any house party move on from the standing around bored and getting plastered type to a really entertaining evening. Funny how someone starts with a relatively tame tale and the next seems to want to top that .... until the non trade females start to get a little sloshed and feeling they were in safe company, told some of their stories ..... a few eyebrow raisers and blinking moments and a whole new view of someone you thought wasn't like that at all :lol: 
That was were I first heard about the "Stunner for rent" where all they required was to be friendly, sociable, have the basic social graces and present that "if only she was mine" look that made the bloke who was doing the hiring look like he was a real killer ladies man.
Some did it to hide their sexuality, some because they actually had no social skills to speak of so couldn't meet that sort of woman using their skill set, but wanted to think others thought he actually could, and others who just wanted to look like they had made it without actually having to go through the B/S that such a high maintenance type like that would demand. There were even stories that came out that seemed like they belonged in a movie script, where the male would ask the woman to train him is the fine arts of getting a woman like her in the wild so to speak. Surprising how many of these "stunners" were gay and had no intention of ever having sex with a male, but really enjoyed the whole social scene a "nerd" was usually trying to fit into, so they enjoyed making their "partner" feel more relaxed at these type of gatherings ..... 
Having a Polly amorous daughter certainly opened the doors to a whole different world, certainly not one I could maintain any sort of sanity if I lived in it, but everyone is different in the way they are wired I guess.
