Dave its three holes actually, if they are rare that means that my bus is now worth more, ha, so last night I got the head off, I was worried that there could be damage to the valves or seats, once off there was a couple of valves that were sitting a touch higher and once the light was on them I could see the aluminium shining out from under one of the valves, there were lots of little bits of aluminium on the pistons but no marks anywhere,

So I don't own or know anyone down here with a valve spring compressor so today I done a google to see what they look like and then made one out of leftover bits I had in the shed, worked a treat and the valves are now out and cleaned up along with the seats and they all look good, so hopefully tomorrow night I will put them back in and then fill the inlet with some fuel and see how they go, pretty happy that there is no real damage inside, cheers Greg
