Looks like that driver has been down that road many times before......but has not seen the recent installation of that structure....concrete is still new and the steelwork is still in primer.....

When I had the Ampol Servo we also had a Hertz sub franchise, a local courier leased the pantec and drove under the railway line, to miss the railway crossing due to the freight train coming and the gates being shut ,unfortunately he drove around the hanging clangers that marked the maximum height and consequently wrote the vehicle off.

Every rental pantec, I’ve ever driven, clearly had the total height printed on the windscreen in view of the driver, along with bold print on the rental agreement, that any damage above the cabin, was NOT covered in the insurance you paid for……
