Was at Bunnings the other day, and they had a “pop up stall”, with 2 ladies from the ACT Government to educate the public about the dangers of incorrect used battery disposal.

After a chat with them, they offered me a free wheelie bin, to store my used batteries in. “Yes please”, as it beats the hell out of my small cardboard box I’ve been using to transfer my dead batteries to the collection boxes at Woolworths, Officeworks or Bunnings.

Size holds around 2 dozen or so batteries.

Shown here with a beer bottle, to show the size of this detailed little wheelie bin. Shy

Got Kombi out of the yard and up to the concrete slab that is the remains of the workshop. It just looked so sad sitting in the driveway looking at the remains of the house and motorhome. Couldn't get the throttle cable freed up, so a screwdriver as a lever to hold the throttle part open so I could shuffle it back and forward to get it to a position I could load it on the Gypsy trailer. It did look funny sitting up so high behind the Falcon travelling to the workshop yard, the rear bumper was near dragging on the ground
It was too late to get it off the trailer so I might get a photo tomorrow
