Fitted up a one-way valve to the washer jet supply hose......
It's the last piece of the washer modification that needed doing. Without the valve, the water drains out of the hose back down to the pump that has to then re-fill before the water hits the 'screen. First World problem really.... but now there is water as soon as I flick the washer lever. Job done.

Sheesh !!!
If I do that, I'll have to beef up the front shocks to carry the extra weight...... Starting to think this is never going to end.

Sweden is a country with a lot of snow and mud and unpaved roads - and winters where in some polar regions there is no sun in winter. So it is dark for several days to months - difficult with dirty/snowy headlights. regards,

Epilogue to my Old Bar trip coolant cap issue. 2 new caps arrived today from the US. So one for each T3 in the on board spares section, to ensure I won’t have a repeat away from home.

Replacing CV joints with new Lobro’s.
Making sure the outers, inners and cages are all facing the right way. Making sure the two CVs on each drive shaft are clocked correctly compared to each other. Making sure the long and short drive shafts are on the correct sides (they’re different lengths on an automatic). Painting the exposed part of the shafts so they don’t rust. Using all new Febi boots and new lock washers. Making sure I’ll have no problems on the run to Bundaberg next year

Could have posted under “what made you happy”……
Anyway, found an annoying small vacuum leak. I noticed the other day that my 123 was showing a degree or 2 more at idle on vacuum advance and about 150 - 200 rpm more. Was also getting the smallest of exhaust rumble on de-acceleration or rolling down a hill. Turned out there was a small crack in the hose from the IDF manifold to the 123. Trimmed the ends and all good again
