Generator light stayed on on the Notch yesterday when I moved it.
This arvo I planned to check the valves.
On popping the fan cover off I found a very buggered belt. 
The bloke who designed the Type 3 motor didn't want to make changing a belt easy!  Dodgy  Angry
Anyway. It's done now, and the tappets set again. Have to get a new belt to put back in the parts tub.
