Yes ! ….to both.
I’m pretty sure we still have Operation tucked away somewhere.
Our boys loved that game.
Building cubby houses out of chairs and tables with quilts and sheets thrown over, on rainy windy days like today !
Our boys would spend all day in their newly built castle , filling it with pillows, toys and books.
It was a struggle to dismantle it at the end of the day and in school holidays, they would often sleep overnight in it.
Good times…..

Sitting in the lounge room looking at slides on a manual projector!
Our family holidays were simple but fantastic and we were able to relive them all over again when my parents’ films had been developed and the slide projector rolled out.
We used to have “slide nights” that would revisit all sorts of camping trips and memorable occasions.
The wait for the film to be processed was agonising and we never really knew what the results were going to be until they were up on the screen…..
Good times.
