I will be using adhesive mat on the vertical panels and the roof, but I'm not keen on adhesive for the floor, as it tends to trap moisture in my experience. So I was curious as to what you all use. As far as I can see the only options are a spray on, or a thick carpet underlay.....also not quite sure what I want to do with the parcel rack at the back. Any advice welcome, thanks,
Mark
I personally would only use sound deadener on the sides only, you don't need to cover the whole side panel to get the same effect as putting a smaller pieces in the required side panel area.
You are just adding more weight for no extra benefit, big regret of mine when I did mine.
On the floor area I only used a carpet underfelt that isn't glued at all, then an original rubber mat over the top.

Most adhesive sound products are designed to stop the “drummyness” of large panels, so a small centre section is only required to do that, like the underside of stainless steel sinks.
Keep that in mind, as the manufacturers of these products, would like to sell you enough to coat the whole vehicle…

Put some in the nose cone will never hurt.
