We are camped at Meralda Station Cobar

Very different- but so peaceful

Definitely on the edge of the outback

Expect some “edge of outback” cool overnight / morning temps there.  Wink
We are staying in Hay tonight at a Big 4 - covered ensuite site for $48 - luxury!!!

We found this morning that we had to wait a bit to dry off from the dew from last night - being undercover might mean we get on the road to Renmark tomorrow a little quicker.

That awning is the goods!
Last one before Strathalbyn.
Murra Murra on the Murray River sort of near Renmark.
It’s a Hipcamp and seems to be a one site place.
Passes all my requirements
Dog - yep
Fire - yep
Toilet - yep

That looks a lovely spot Barry - the river is so nice. See you tomorrow!
After leaving Strathalbyn, we headed back to the Murray.
Rufus is halfway between Renmark and Mildura.
All dirt road of pretty bad conditions. About 200kms all up.

The actual campsite was Wompinni Station

It was well worth the travel
Unfortunately, the sky had a light cloud covering.

Surprisingly, this was our most crowded, with about 4 other groups there.

Not that it packed by any means

When you head off, you pass Lake Victoria.
Amazing bird life and we stopped for a while and got the binoculars out.

There is a pink lake out there but we missed the turn off.
