Muffler 2litre bay
#1
Well on the way back from Bus Stop Merimbula Old Boy started to sound like some of those 'ratty buses' at Old Bar. Pop, induct, pop again. We just parked up when we got home. Yeah...covid etc. Went to explore today & found that the tail pipe had gone missing & there was no spot to put the tennis ball to check leaks. Didn't need to when the end of the muffler was gone! Sad .

To invoke my fathers comment when I first replaced the door rubbers after 27 years. Dad, "Wow, that's disappointing they only lasted 27 years."
Well, that's disappointing that the muffler only lasted 47 years  Big Grin .

Got one out of heritage parts uk for $200 less than local.
Cheers

I’ve found Ernst mufflers to be very good quality.
Put one on my bus when the engine was done in 2011 and it’s still going strong with no sign of failure anywhere.
Cheers,
Mark
