Pop top canvas replacement in situ is for those with strong abs! It involves a LOT of upside down movement off the ground. Take your old cover off from the base aluminium strip when the roof is up. Then lift that flap up to find how the timber strip is affixed. It's just skew pin nails! Then lever the strip off. Now you see how it comes off! Go & get canvas replicated or see Gumtree or necro on here.

Firstly take your new canvas that you got & reverse wrap it on the timber that you took your old cover off. Then secure the upstairs timber by whatever means you wish. I initially used the original skew nails but after a 'fail' reverted to 20mm timber coarse screws.

It's easy from there as it's just wrap it under the bottom aluminium trim strip & re rivet that strip. Leave the excess to trim at a later date! Or to adjust height!

Cheers
