Mechanic Lower North Shore
#1
Have a 74 Bay Kombi in need for some love and care from an experienced mechanic.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Is your kombi going and “just” needs a tune, or is it a work in progress that “may” need exploratory surgery and parts replacements?

Good mechanics are getting thin on the ground, and those out there are shying away from new customers with unknown vehicles.
Customers get huge shocks when presented with a large bill - but that’s what it takes to get a 50 year old car going that has been neglected for a decade or 2

Your best place to start would be Vintage Vee Dub Supplies at Campsie 9789 1777

She running but not as well as she should be. Was fully restored by previous owner and was service by someone around Brookvale (could be wrong).  Had her for over 12mths. Down on power, not idling well. Was tuned and serviced 8 & 2 months ago. No disrespect to mechanic that serviced her but would like some else to check her over.
