Ugly Borat gradually Morphing into a Hemsworth
#1
Like many of you I had documented much of Borats journey but like the wallabies i have lost most.

I will pick out the photos I have that shows all his progress

This T3 can carry lots of stuff. Am i annoyed my wife zooms past  me on hills on her electric  bike? Who else thinks it is cheating?

Poor old borat didnt have a complete interior. It was an old  waterlogged Trakka camper.
So i have been completing 1 by 1 3mm ply panels. I then varnish them all to protect against moisture.

I found the original black plastic push tabs that came with the T3. I now can easy pop the panels off if need be.
Once i am happy with it  all the panels on goes the funky retro beach stripe vinyl.

What do you think of the vinyl?
I know some people have said the varnished ply looks good as it is right now

Yes i will post some pics when the vinyl is done.  I now have to remove the RNR bed to remove the 2 rear panels to do.

Here is one of my favourite  upgrades. From campervan vulture make a nice bracket mount for gauges near the Pillar.
For me this is much better viewing than the traditional  cut a hole in the dash.

Ahhh...you have the Land Rover mirrors as well  Smile

I have painted ply in the back of my T3.
Very similar to what Caravelle C's had.
If I mark it after I have gone camping or to the tip, I can give it a whack of paint and it is new again
