Filter box for subaru

Guys,
I'm running a 2.5 subaru with a cone filter on the intake.
I've seen previous posts about other filters used.
All the old info has disappeared with the loss of the old forum.
What air filter systems fit? 
I remember commodores may fit but what year?
I have to go to the left side if that helps.
Keen to change from the cone.
