Unfortunate kombis have become valuable to the point they are worth stealing for parts.
Don't know exactly what they have take other then roof, motor and running gear. Pretty low act to do that to any old car. It's a real shame

I cant get over the way they have ripped random bits out and yet left things like the doors. Seems very targeted, and the franken kombi they supposedly are going to put the removed parts in is going to be a real hackjob.

I could accept if they stole it and rebirthed it.
But to cut it up and (I am assuming) graft/butcher it on to some other rust bucket - WTF?!?

I saw that the roof was found in a different location. They didn't even take the drivers seat which is worth $$. Very strange

It's like what Mordred has mentioned seems to be a target attack on the owner or business for some reason

If it was a target at the business, they would have set fire to it when it was in the garage of the business -
