Power Assisted Brakes

Hey guys just wondering what people out there have done for boosted brakes on their splitty's, mine is a 66 model with disc front drum rear, more so i'm looking for the cheapest solution, the remote systems look good but seem a bit expensive for me, also what method have you used to pull the vacuum, I have seen a Brazilian Varga 211611905 booster used, anyone gone down this route and could suggest any tips or options, cheers Greg
