It was really good. That's coming from a guy that had a train set that half filled my bedroom when I was 12. My favorite locomotives were the really big older style steam engines. Like The Flying Scotsman. So getting up real close to a somewhat decent size loco whilst it was operating was pretty cool for me. And the steak and beer at the pub at Dungog was brilliant too. A real shame all the shops were shut and we couldn't walk in and out of 30 shops looking at non-VW and non steam engine stuff....
