Is it just me...or does that slider look as though it's in 180 degrees arse about ?
ie. furthest pane of glass out should be at the front of the unit.....

Yes ,it upside down i think, I have one of these fitted and mine is the fitted the other way around.it slides from front to rear ,The question is which is ,is there a right way or a wrong way to fit them,mmm

If it’s OG then it would be the RH window on the LHS and the lock would be upside down?

If it’s JK then I guess it doesn’t matter as the lock is in the middle?

Except the glass overlap is going into the wind. 
Maybe noise or water ingress?
