Hi everyone
New member here in Darwin.  I recently bought a 1976 T2 Transporter minus a motor and interior in pretty rough condition but not very rusty and not in any difficult spots.
We had Kombis when I was a kid in the 80's and have pretty much driven north, south, east and west in them around the whole country but this is MY first one and I'm very happy to have it.
I paid $2000 for it and can't remember the last time I saw one for sale within 500km of Darwin so jumped when I got the chance.
Anyway, just saying hello and starting to browse the forum.
Cheers
Chris

Welcome to KCA Chris....
A relatively straight shell with minimal rust is a great find !!

Spend your time in the different Sections....plenty of great info. to found in the Important Threads, stuck at the top, as well as within the general discussions.
Ask any question you like.....chances are that someone has already been through that issue before and posted their resolution.
.....and remember, there's no such thing as a silly question.....lots of learning to be had by everyone as the result of someone posting a question.

Enjoy the ride.
Cool
Cheers,
Mark

Nice project.
Body looks half decent.
Did you get a motor with it?

Thanks for the welcome everyone!  I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions and looking forward to getting stuck in.
Minimal rust in Darwin is an especially good find.

Thanks Barry, there's no motor but the rest is in decent shape or easy enough to get into decent shape.
