Just wanted to share that dad (Chris) was laid to rest on Friday along with mum, as it was his wish to have mums' ashes in the coffin with him. So, they are reunited once again and buried at Lobethal cemetery in the Adelaide hills.

I thank you all for the kind words you have posted, really means a lot.

For those who are interested, the following is a link to the service that was held on Friday 13th, and yes, it did go without any problems, considering the date !!!

Thank you

Thanks so much Shaun, for the update to your dad”s extended family here.

13 is just a number, considered unlucky by some, also considered lucky by others, whether a Friday or not.

Either way, or in between, it will now be a number memorable to all the Taylor family.

So glad the final celebration, went to plan, and the way Chris wanted it.

Hey Shaun...tough times.
I'm all at sea with funerals.....never been able to mask my emotions.... Cry
I find them incredibly moving and testament to how much I emotionally invest in my connections with those I love.
I'm sure Chris' Family provided the support that you all needed to get through the final farewell.
You have a lifetime of memories to cherish and re-live when the time is right.
....and particularly touching that your Mum & Dad are together again......for eternity.

Our Kombi Family is poorer for the loss of Chris but we remember him fondly.
Heart
Glasses will be tipped at Old Bar in memory.......
Cheers,
Mark
