Broken Hill………just happened to be the 30th year celebration of Priscilla Queen of the Desert as we cruised into town around 1pm just as the parade was happening and had no idea we had coincided with the celebrations……..The city was awash with colour, sequins and deep voices…….that evening we came back for pre drinks at one of many Hotels and parked up ………and just by chance fellow Kombi Club Members Andrew and Chris walked by and said “we know that T3……
And they found us across the road ……..you never know who you’re going to run into…..great catch up..

Kombi is parked on the other side of the Old Como Rail Bridge
1876 or something like that.
Great Heritage walks around.
Dog friendly
Another place Henry Lawson hung out at, after Abbotsford and Mallacoota

We stopped in Clarence Town for a cheeky beer at the Erringhi Hotel.
It was only 11:00 but being daylight saving it was midday……… oh wait  Rolleyes

Really nice old school pub

Lea has always wanted to go to the Carinda Hotel to see the David Bowie hotel that is in the Let’s Dance film clip.
We finally made it.
Still open and still serving beer.
But it has certainly seen better days.

Sadly, I saw that Carinda got smashed the other day in a full on storm.

The pub lost its roof and the pizza shop and general store have closed.

Closest pub is now in Walget about 80km away
