Oh Lorraine! You are always so busy and active - this is going to be so hard for you! Hugs to Andy and I hope they find the cause and its nothing sinister. See you at Old Bar fingers crossed!

Well retirement hasn’t got off to the best start, we did have a very enjoyable get away to Kenilworth but the next trip was a disaster. Our plan was to spend 10 days doing a round trip out to Longreach and back seeing lots of new places. Day two Andy started having pain in his neck by day 4 he was admitted to Charleville Hospital after passing out in the Doctors surgery. Lots of tests run but no answers. He spent 3 days in hospital and we were allowed to leave Charleville day 8. I learned very quickly how to drive the Motorhome ? Still waiting for CT scan to try and rule out lots of sinister things. 

One week later, this Thursday I had a very bad fall whilst visiting Mum and ended up in ER for the night. I’ve managed to fracture my left forearm and have a very bad fracture of the patella. Poor Andy who is still not 100% now has to do just about everything around the house and care for me. He’s doing a Stella job.

Recovery is 5-6 weeks so I’m praying I will be OK to travel to Old Bar…..a short trip of 1000klms each way. We love this event so fingers crossed.

Bloody hell Lorraine! Hope your recovery is quick and Andy is doing okay so you can get to Old Bar and have plenty of laughs. No more fights with the floor though.
