Converting Kombi to electric will be enough of a challenge. None of that "replace the engine with an electric motor stuff, replace the engine and gearbox with an electric drive unit for the MG4 donor wreck. If I hadn't already bought the MG4, the previous model, the ZS, was a front wheel drive but could be easily adapted to use the same motor cradle fitted to the rear. A lower performance motor, 105kW compared to the 150kW in the MG4, a lower capacity battery as well, but a lot more info in available about the ZS in regard to using it as a donor compared to the MG4, just too new I guess.
