We’ll probably take the slow road via the Snowy Mountains and pop out near Eden.
Travelled that route for Mallacoota and it was sensational……..cold but sensational !

Ditto - I find it a much better drive

RE: Travel to Merimbula - Mr Beckstar - 26-04-2023

I'd be happy to go down the coast road. We're currently booked at Merimbula to check in on 29th, although that could be changed. Having said that, it's pretty expensive each night in Merimbula so maybe we would spend a second night in Bateman's Bay and check out the Bateman's Bay area on the 28th.

Thursday night at Merimbula is not as expensive (under $200) as the other 3 nights & as I understand it they're charging for a minimum 4 night stay anyway Angry .

RE: Travel to Merimbula - Kazz - 27-05-2023

It’s a while yet but we will definitely be travelling the coast.
First stop Culburra to see family
Fish and chips at Orient Point and Jim Wilds oysters
Next stop Malua Bay to catch up with friends
This guy catches good fish !
Bodalla dairy shed for the best chilli chocolate ice cream ever
The coast with great oysters shacks
Narooma bridge oysters plus Mimosa Rocks
Then Bermagui to see old mates
Gotta love this part of NSW south coast
So looking forward to getting back to my favourite part of NSW

RE: Travel to Merimbula - Alpal - 24-01-2024

We will be driving Schmetterling from Bend of Islands to get there Thursday. Route to avoid traffic! Leaving and stopping as required. See you there. Safe travels one and all!

RE: Travel to Merimbula - DavidH - 03-03-2024

Hi Cruisers,
We have a Komvoy Wink . Meeting at the twin servos on the M1 at 8am for a 8.30 departure & next stop Woodbine maccas about 1 hour later. It's then just over an hours drive to the mystery lunch location. Edit: (If you wish to join us let us know on here as Juzz needs numbers for the lunch booking.) You'll have to do your own thing for Lunch as it's fully booked! Then onto Batemans Bay.
Cheers

Enjoy the run… Cool

RE: Travel to Merimbula - DavidH - 03-03-2024
