Tuesday 7.12.21 about 6pm. There's cloud & there's clouds & there's this Angry bas***d.
Tracked up from the central coast where it did heaps of damage  Sad .
   
Learning a bit as I goSmile. Had to 'insert' this image to get the full image. In attach it just showed the left half.

Absolutely stunning birds with a unique call….
Love them and their cousins, the Yellow Tails.
Both have a unique flight too…..they almost float along.

They do seem to float... Its such a shame though, the population is in a decline through loss of habitat.

There are regular “fly bys” by the local community of Yellow Tails at Old Bar every day.
Just another reason to be there !

Here as well. They sit in the top of the Casuarinas and chop off the branches. So a trip to Old Bar is unnecessary.
