Love these things Big Grin
Things everywhere!!
In the 80’s, they were the only rental cars on the island. Many fond memories of long cruises, in perfect weather around the place.

I assume that most rusted away, broke down, or suffered irreparable accident damage, and were replaced with (small) Suzuki Jimneys & (larger) Toyota Kijangs.

The ones left today, are owned and maintained by VW fanatics, and can be hired with driver, for tours.
Very sad end to a cool looking bug on “Highway Patrol”…….   Confused

Look what I found today.

Going to knock on the door and see if it’s for sale.

If it’s complete I am going to have to think hard about what to do.

I had one offered to me about 20 years ago and had to pass on it.

It’s an Ascort TSV 1300
