Hi kombi lovers

ive been trying to replace my handbrake handle and can not get the pin out, im not sure theres a pin in it, does th handle screw on, could it be glued, does anyone have a pic with the pin in, its realy starting to do my head in not being able to get it out

yep, there's a roll pin in there ... make sure you support it well and then 'tap' it out

As indicated by Tintop - the pin should tap out. I replaced my very perished handle a couple of years ago. After 50 years it was gummed up badly, and the pin was hard to remove.
In the end I pulled the lever out and removed the pin & handle on the workbench
Echo above. I just removed mine and really, really, really had to bash it hard to get it out. I used a nail at first, and then an old drill bit. I used a block of wood and the steering wheel security club to support the handle, as I had to bash it hard. You might think you are hitting it too hard--trust me, you are not. 

I reattached the new one with a zip tie, and I may or may not get another pin. She was pretty ignorant to get out!
