Thank you for posting this up Doug.

It's a fun weekend like no other!

I do hope we get a good amount of Kombis for this event. It's a bit strange being in September that was due to Nimbin and surrounds being heavily affected by the 'Lismore' floods.

We are just nutting out the details but we will again have the Rainbow Power Company on board offering the FREE Kombi Konvoy overnight camping and security for our Kombis in their grounds  [Image: biggrin.png]

This is MardiGrasse's 25th year so lets make it a big one.

We will be travelling down from QLD and hopefully joining others along the way.

GOLD COAST MEETING POINT:
AMPOL SERVICE STATION
2 PENNY LANE, BURLEIGH HEADS
GATHER AT 10 AM READY TO DEPART AT 10:30 AM

It's a bit tricky to get to, so put it in your Navigation App.
Coming from Brisbane on the M1, take Exit 85, follow the signs to Burleigh Heads (SH80 - right lane) and then turn right at the traffic lights toward Coolangatta.
You will find the service station on that road before you rejoin the M1.
Latecomers or if you missed the turnoff - call me on 0427 655 890.

Sorry you missed this year's Nimbin Kombi Konvoy.
Try to make it next year.
There were 20 kombis leaving Byron Bay and a few others joined at Lismore.
Here are 9 of the 10 who left from the Gold Coast pickup point.
More photos can be found on The Kombi Club Facebook page.

Thank you Doug, good to see it back to the original date of first Saturday in May. Hopefully no more natural disasters will change it.

It will be interesting to see in our lunch break stopover if Lismore has started to rebuild and recover, it was a very sorry state last Konvoy.
