Hope your toes are staying dry………

Hoping that everyone in the path of this ECL is staying dry and with minimal damage……
Here, (Northern Beaches Sydney), we’ve seen a lot of wind and a fair bit of rain, though not as much as predicted…….yet !
Cheers,
Mark

Hah…. Was just about to do the same post

We are the same - a lot of rain, but not so much you can’t see the back fence, which I have seen before.
Lea’s Eos is wearing some blue masking tape along the roof joins and it seems to be working to keep the rain out.
It’s only just dried out from when we came back from Tasmania to find a small swimming pool on the passenger side of car.

Our other concern was the shed/granny flat/myspace which gets the run off and occasionally floods.
But I have done some work the last couple of days and seems to be working.

So all in all, whilst the ground is sodden, everything that is meant to be dry is still dry.

That said - the garden is getting smashed

Toes are still dry but to give you all a laugh in this cold weather....

Definition of OPTIMISM.

Sitting in a snowed in Perisher Valley carpark in 1980 with the bus idling waiting for my 2 litre Sopru camper heater to get warm Sad .

I had to double check the coming events page, for the Berry Blast From The Past date.

With this much intense rain on the coast, I thought it must have been scheduled for this weekend.   Tongue

I hope you are all okay and haven't suffered any damage.  Just windy and unseasonably cold up here.

I got a message from a very good friend in Darwin, stating that it dropped to 17 degrees this morning!  Dodgy

I offered to post him up a puffer jacket…… but he’s so far declined the offer. Tongue

Not much to write home about here. The yellow bin wasn't collected due to the weather and road conditions (yet the red and green were!!!). Water tanks are full again and the backyard lake is slightly higher so the Pelicans will be back soon.

I didn’t expect an answer, because I spoke in Spaniel, which is understood only by spaniels.
