So much serenity when you are around water. To just sit there and watch nature do it's thing is the way to go I reckon. As a family, we always had a stop there on our way to Falls Creek…..our annual ski trip. RE: Show us your camp site - Deeksy - 06-12-2023 Hi all, a quick weekend break in Yamba, just 2 nights but it is close to Coffs so an easy trip. But was it hot! still, beach and river close to town, Wobbly Chook bar around the corner, good pizza, the Calypso Caravan Park is ideal. Not the flashest place but super conveinient. And the kombi ran beautifully! RE: Show us your camp site - Barry - 28-01-2024 Just had 2 nights at East Lynne. If you know where Pebbly Beach is, instead of turning left, you turn right and we headed 5 km up a dirt road. A primitive Hipcamp that gave us peace and quiet. 10-15 minute drive to depot beach. Really didn’t do much. Took our time going down. Stopped for a beer in Berry and had a look around. The place is owned by a local aboriginal elder. If you drive into Batemans Bay, the big mural on the left, Loretta is on the left of the 3 faces. Will certainly be going back, when it is quieter in the towns. They were packed up Lots of wild life but only got a pic of a small goanna Local servo had some nice toys RE: Show us your camp site - Chris Taylor - 28-01-2024 (28-01-2024, 06:34 PM)Barry Wrote: Just had 2 nights at East Lynne. RE: Show us your camp site - Barry - 28-01-2024 Oh - and the servo with the motor bikes does the best pies. Their apple and their berry pies are superb. Not drowning in icing sugar RE: Show us your camp site - Melissa - 18-02-2024 Just spent 4 nights at Seal Rocks caravan park - we go there every year for a memorial weekend with families and this is our tenth year. Beautiful spot but gee it gets crowded and its not cheap! We get the same sites each year as a group and the grounds had not recovered from whoever has camped there for the school holidays - the rain and storms we had from the Wednesday night meant we had a river running under the kombi and through the gazebo. Josie held up well and its the first real trip since we have ironed out her issues - Scott drove her up on Wednesday towing the trailer and then I arrived after work that evening. We are now confident she will be able to make the Merimbula trip for Bus Stop. RE: Show us your camp site - Oldman - 18-02-2024 Hope you weren’t paying for a grassed site ! 10 years…….wow……where has the time gone….?
